Personnel

Alana Conti, Ph.D.

Alana is a postdoctoral fellow using molecular genetic alterations in rodent model systems to understand mechanisms associated with altered stress behavior and also effects of ethanol on the central nervous system.

Christine Ratajczak

Chrissy is a graduate student in the Molecular Cell Biology Program studying the role of circadian clock genes in the control of the timing of birth.

Diane Brown, M.D. Ph.D.

Diane did her graduate studies at the University of California, San Francisco, and completed her Pediatrics residency at Washington University. She is currently a fellow in the Pediatric Rheumatology/Immunology Program, and investigates glucocorticoid signaling in immune system cells.

Crystal Kelley

Crystal is a Research Technician in the laboratory involved in projects evaluating learning and memory in gene knockout mice.

Ben Kolber

Ben is a graduate student in the Neurosciences Program studying neural pathways of control of stress behaviors.

Lindsay Wieczorek

Lindsay is a graduate student in the Neurosciences Program studying stress effects on learning and memory.

Lisa Muglia, Ph.D.

Lisa received her Ph.D. in Pathology at the University of Chicago. She is currently a research associate in the laboratory studying the interaction of cyclic AMP and glucocorticoid signal transduction pathways in neurons.

Jeffrey Roizen

Jeff is a graduate of Williams College and now a member of the Medical Scientist Training Program. His graduate studies in the Molecular Cell Biology Program seek to determine the function of different prostaglandin dehydrogenase is parturition.

Sherri Vogt

Sherri a graduate in Biology from Southern Illinois University is Senior Research Technician in the laboratory. She oversees organization of our animal colony and performs molecular biological and histological studies related to stress-response and parturition pathways.

Emily DeFranco, DO

Emily is a maternal fetal medicine fellow in obstetrics and gynecology studying the genetics of human preterm birth.

Sandip Bhattacharyya, Ph.D.

Sandip is a postdoctoral fellow studying the effects of glucocorticoids on immune cell function.

Paul Bernard, M.D.

Paul is a fellow in pediatric endocrinology whose research interest is the understanding the molecular mechanism of steroid-induced bone loss.
