Fellowship Training Grants

Training Program in Developmental Hematology

This is an institutional Research Training Grant in the Department of Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine intended to provide pediatric physicians with postdoctoral research experience with the long-term goal of producing independent investigators capable of making important contributions to biomedical research. The major features of the program include 1) emphasis on the training of pediatric physician-scientists in the area of developmental hematology, 2) inclusion of both M.D.s and M.D./Ph.D.s who require additional scientific training, 3) individually designed clinical and research training, 4) accessibility to a wide range of research laboratories within Washington University, and 5) complementation of existing training programs within the Department of Pediatrics and the School of Medicine.
