Caroline Clare Horner [ contact information ]
Instructor
Dr. Horner is a member of the Division of Allergy and Pulmonary Medicine. She also provides care to patients with immunologic diseases through the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology. She received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Washington University. She received her medical degree from and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at St. Louis University. She completed her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She joined the faculty of Washington University in 2006. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Allergy and Clinical Immunology. She is a member of several organizations including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology and is on the Board of Directors of the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology.
Research
Dr. Horner’s research interests include childhood asthma. She is involved with research efforts through the Childhood Asthma Research and Education (CARE) network, a multi-centered network examining therapeutic approaches to childhood asthma.
