Pediatric Cardiology - Outpatient Service

Students will independently evaluate outpatients referred for evaluation of cardiac murmurs, chest pain and arrhythmia and report findings to the attending physician. Clinics are held at St. Louis Children's Hospital, Missouri Baptist Hospital and many outreach sites. The student will review with the attending all EGGs, holter monitors and echo-cardiograms performed. Participation in weekly surgical conference and journal club is expected. Valid start weeks for 4-week blocks are: Weeks, 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37 and 41.
