Ambulatory Medicine | For Parents
Appointments
You may call either (888) 503-2237 or one
of the divisional appointment numbers.
At the time you make the appointment, we will also complete your
child's registration. Please have your insurance information
available at the time you schedule the appointment. If any questions
arise about insurance coverage, you will be referred to the division
administrator. If your child is uninsured and you live in Missouri
or Illinois, you will be referred to a Financial Counselor to assess
eligibility for "MC+ for Kids".
If your insurance requires a referral, please contact the physician who referred
your child to our specialist. If there are any questions about the referral
process, please contact the division office.
We encourage you to
register online
with Washington University Physicians to make your first and follow-up
visits go smoothly.
Prior to your apointment, you may wish to review information concerning
our office locations (including maps, directions and lodging information), and
what to expect at your visit.
We also have a
virtual tour
of our SLCH subspecialty ambulatory office suites available.
In general, we can provide care for your child more efficiently and
at less cost, if your doctor provides us with pertinent information
about your child's history including results of laboratory tests and
radiographs. For some specialists, it is important to review the
actual x-rays in addition to the typed reports. Some specialists may
also require detailed information about your child's growth,
development and immunizations. This information will be requested at
the time you make your appointment or in a packet mailed to you
prior to your visit.
